FAQs

There may be questions you want to ask so take a minute to read through the text below. If you have any questions, please drop a line to Darnos in-game.

Who is Ace Squad?
The Ace Squad is a Alliance and Horde guild based on the Kazzak server in World of Warcraft. It was originally created by Craig with the theme based on the iconic 80's TV series 'The A-Team'.

Who can join?
Anyone can join provided they are over the age of 16 and providing they understand and accept the ethos of the guild.

What is the Ethos of the Guild?
The ethos is - a guild for a close group of friends who enjoy chatting and mixing together for our gaming enjoyment. Those who do not chat or bother to take part are not suitable for this guild.

How much is it to join?
It's free to join Ace Squad... for now ;P

How do I gain rank?
You gain rank by proving you fit into the guild. You can do this several ways. By chatting regularly in guild chat, mixing with the other members, taking part in guild related events etc etc. To read about this in more depth, go to the Members page.

I am going to be away from the game for a while, will I be kicked?
In the Ace Squad we want an active guild. Therefor if people do not log into any of their characters on a regular basis they are not suitable for this guild.

However, if you do log in regularly on a guild based character and then find yourself in a situation where you will be away from the game for a long period of time, simply inform the Guild Master and he will label you as 'away'. If the player does not return within a reasonable time frame, it will be assumed they are no longer playing any of the characters and all characters will be removed.

Do you accept Alternative Characters?
We do accept alternative characters into the guild. We do this to encourage people to spend time in the guild. Your name will be listed next to your character in the Guild tab under 'social'.

Does the guild run guild raids?
We had begun to run raids until recently when the 'purge' took place. To read about the purge, please visit Darnos August report. Unfortunately at the current time we do not run guild raids, though we aim to in the future.
